Blizzard take 3-1 series lead after double OT win

WINNIPEG, MB – Tyler Dahms scored the game winner in double overtime on Wednesday night to lift the Blizzard to a 3-2 victory and give Northern Manitoba a 3-1 series lead over the Neepawa Titans.

Mason Hartley kicked off the scoring in game four with a shorthanded marker that would give the Titans a lead before Keenan McNeill tied the game with under five to play in the first. Kyle Weisgarber scored his second of the playoffs to give Neepawa a one-goal lead only to have the Blizzard tie the game when Jack Linton scored a powerplay goal.

After a scoreless third period the two clubs would require overtime for the first time in the series with each team trading chances. After another scoreless period, the Blizzard and Titans would head to double overtime where Tyler Dahms would net the winner at 12:43 to put the Blizzard up 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.


Game five is set for Friday night in The Pas when the Blizzard host the Titans at 7:00.
