Steinbach Pistons defenseman, Noah Szabo has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
The 6-foot, 185-pound native of St Thomas, Ontario, sits tied second in scoring amongst defenders and 18th in the MJHL with 8 goals and 21 assists in 31 games.
Szabo played a key role in helping the Pistons to their Turnbull Cup championship in 2022-23, playing all 18 playoff games where he scored 3 goals and 3 assists.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks hockey team plays NCAA Division 1 as an independent program.
