The MJHL’s leading scorer amongst all defenders exploded for a 7-point outing against Virden which included 1 goal and 6 helpers before rattling off goals in each of the next three games. The veteran d-man helped the Flyers to their 6th straight win and MJHL leading 39th win of the season over the weekend.

Christian Green (G/’04) – Steinbach Pistons – 3GP | 3W | 1.67GAA | .938SV% | 1SO
Three starts and three wins for Green who helped the Pistons earn their 8th straight victory over the weekend. Green also earned a 27-save shutout against the Blues to become the first goaltender this season to reach the 30-win mark.

Owen Warnick (FWD/’06) – Selkirk Steelers – 3GP | 3G | 5A | 8PTS
The Northern Michigan D1 commit sits tied for 8th in league scoring and 1st on the Steelers following a big weekend. Back-to-back 1 goal, 1 assist outings before scoring a goal and 3 assists in a thumping of the Freeze, Warnick exploded offensively this season, hitting the 20-goal mark and looks poised to take another step next season.
