Week 23, March 3 – 9, 2025  |  The Manitoba Junior Hockey League Stars of the Week are proudly presented by Original 16.

Quincy Supprien (FWD/’05) – Northern Manitoba Blizzard – 3GP | 1G | 6A | 7PTS

The speedy forward from Quebec posted a big week for the Blizzard to help his club hold on to 2nd place in the MGEU West Division. He had the primary assist on the game winner against Dauphin before posting back-to-back 3-point outings against Steinbach and Winnipeg to close out the week.

Ryan Velan (G/’05) – Portage Terriers – 2GP | 2W | 1.00GAA | .967SV%

A pair of strong performances last week from Velan helped improved his record to 15-3 on the season after picking up a pair of key wins. After turning aside 23 shots in a win over the Blues, Velan stopped 36 of 37 in a tight 2-1 win over the Flyers to close out the week on a strong note for Portage.

Mason Hartley (FWD/’04) – Neepawa Titans – 2GP | 3G | 2A | 5PTS

After scoring against the Oil Capitals in an important MGEU West Division win, Hartley followed up with a monster performance against the Nighthawks, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in a 5-2 win for the Titans. Hartley and the Titans remain with an outside shot at 2nd place in the division and home ice in the 1st round of the McMunn & Yates Turnbull Cup Playoffs.
