Rolling right along. Not bludgeoning teams on the scoreboard but playing high compete, high-level hockey that will continue to produce results. Deep, tough and fully bought in.

3rd – Dauphin Kings (-)

Not always going to be pretty, but the Kings are a group that is finding ways to get the job done. Down but never out, a frustrating team to play against that can put up timely goals.

Last week: 1-2

Won’t be happy after collecting 2 out of a possible 6 points but will be happy with the effort in a tough 3 games in 3 nights road trip for a second straight weekend. Lots to build on.
Key Player: Nicholas Mckee – 2 goals, 2 assists in 3 games
Up Next:  Nov. 8th @ WPG Blues, Nov. 10th vs Virden, Nov. 11th @ WPG Blues

5th – Niverville Nighthawks (+2)
Last week: 2-0
Overall: 10-7
As much needed as the wins, strong goal scoring was just as needed. Big players put up big numbers and that will need to continue if the group wants to climb up the standings.
Key Player: Merik Boles – 3 goals, 2 assists in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 8th vs Swan Valley, Nov. 11th @ Neepawa

6th – Northern Manitoba Blizzard (-)

Overall: 11-5-0-1
Great response after a loss. Built a lead but watched it evaporate, still managing to hold on. Wins like that help build character. Teams will be pushed and this group held strong.
Key Player: Miguel Bouvier – 1 goal, 5 assists in 2 games
Up Next: Nov 9th @ Virden, Nov. 10th @ Waywayseecappo

7th – Selkirk Steelers (-2)
Last week: 0-2

Hard knock lessons were served up by two of the top teams in the league. Not short on skill, the Steelers are right there, they will learn and then improve thanks to the losses.
Key Player: Dawson Dear – 1 goal, 1 assist in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 10th @ Dauphin, Nov. 13th @ Waywayseecappo

8th – Neepawa Titans (+1)
Last week: 1-0-1
Overall: 9-7-1-1
Taking 3 out of a possible 4 points keeps the Titans right in the fight for top tier status. Not afraid of going into extra time with a league leading 3 overtime wins.
Key Player: Kyle Weisgarber – 1 goal, 2 assists in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 11th vs Niverville

9th – Virden Oil Capitals (+2)
Last week: 1-1
Overall: 7-10
Feeling a bit of pressure from the team chasing them down for 4th spot. Don’t outscore any issues but never put themselves in too deep of a hole.
Key Player: Rhett Platt – 1 goal, 2 assists in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 9th vs Northern Manitoba, Nov. 10th @ Winkler

10th – Swan Valley Stampeders (+3)
Last week: 1-0-0-1
Overall: 2-11-2-1
Massive overtime win followed up by getting a point in a shootout loss. Despite how things have looked, not too far out of that final playoff spot. No room for many errors, however.
Key Player: Landen Gulutzan – 3 goals, 3 assists in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 8th @ Niverville, Nov. 9th @ Portage, Nov. 13th vs Dauphin

11th – Waywayseecappo Wolverines (-3)
Last week: 0-1
Overall: 6-9
One step forward, one step back. Never too high or too low. Well positioned for when their best hockey does come to make a quick climb up the standings. 8 of next 11 at home.
Key Player: Sebastian Stone – 1 goal in 1 game
Up Next: Nov. 9th vs Steinbach, Nov. 10th vs Northern Manitoba, Nov. 13th vs Selkirk

12th – Winnipeg Freeze (0-2)
Last week: 0-2
Overall: 1-10-1-2
Pushed two of the top teams but eventually fell short. Always hard working with strong defensive positioning and above average goaltending. Just not enough scoring throughout.
Key Player: Ben Whitford – 1 goal, 1 assist in 2 games
Up Next: Nov. 10th vs WPG Blues, Nov. 11th vs Portage

13th – Winnipeg Blues (-1)
Last week: 0-3
Overall: 2-12-1-1
Goal scoring is still a massive issue. Can keep goals against down but struggle to find the back of the net so even a small deficit looks like a big mountain to climb.
Key Player: Nikolas Iafrate – 2 goals, 1 assist in 3 games
Up Next: Nov. 10th @ WPG Freeze, Nov. 11th vs Winkler, Nov. 13th @ Portage
